Refund Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
Template notice. Adjust the bracketed figures to the policy you actually
want to offer, and check it against consumer-protection and distance-selling rules in the
places you sell (for example the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, or US state law).
1. Design and build projects
- Deposits reserve your slot and cover discovery and initial design work. They are non-refundable once that work has started, except as required by law.
- Before launch: if you cancel a project part-way through, you pay for the work completed and approved up to the cancellation date; anything already invoiced beyond that is refunded within [14] days.
- After launch: the project fee is non-refundable once the site is live and accepted, because the work has been delivered. Faults are handled as fixes under your plan or warranty, not refunds.
2. Recurring hosting, maintenance and support plans
- Plans are billed in advance. You can cancel at any time with [30] days' notice; the plan then ends at the close of the current billing period and is not pro-rated for the unused part of that period.
- 14-day money-back: if you start a new plan and it is not right for you, tell us within [14] days of the first payment and we will refund that first payment in full, provided we have not carried out substantial one-off work (such as a migration) during that time.
- Service-level credits: if we miss the uptime target in your Terms of Service because of a fault on our side, you receive the credit set out there. Credits are applied to future invoices, not paid in cash.
3. Pass-through costs
Third-party charges we pay on your behalf — domain registration and renewal, premium plugins or themes, stock assets, and advertising spend — are non-refundable once incurred, because the third party has already been paid.
4. How to request a refund
Email mr.cometwebsites@gmail.com with your business name, invoice number and the reason. We aim to respond within [5] business days and to process approved refunds within [14] days, to the original payment method.
5. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer or contract law that applies to you. Where those rights are more generous than this policy, they apply.
